Windows 7: Much better start than with Windows Vista

According to market analysts NetApplications the Windows 7 failed in five months to earn twice that share of Vista. So through the first five months on the market the Windows 7 installed, already 9% of computers, compared with 4.5% who had won the Vista the same time. The Windows 7 found outset well received both by individuals and by businesses, as reported in 'InfoWorld'.

According to Vince Vizzaccaro, Vice NetApplications, seen from a glance at the statistics that the development of Windows 7 is continuous and stable. Moreover, one can see that the new operating sells more individuals. Several analysts have predicted this trend.

Microsoft is held with all versions of Windows, 92% of the market. The biggest share have the Windows XP with 66.3%, followed by Windows Vista with 17.4%. To Mac OS X the Apple holds 5.1% market share. By June, however, Windows 7 is expected to surpass its predecessors.
